What ages do you accept?
Our Rainbow Rider’s program is tailored specifically for our youngest members. Ages 5 and up may join our riding program

What should I bring to a riding class?
Please wear appropriate English or Western riding boots with a heel and long pants; jeans and breeches are okay.
Is there a weight limit?
Yes, 225lbs.
How much is an intro ride?
$50
What days will my child be scheduled?
A quarterly schedule will be available at lessons and online. It will include class opportunities and times.
How long does it take my child to advance ribbon levels?
Advancing ribbons is individually paced and assessed on the Readiness of each participant. Typically, youth over 10 years old will advance ribbon levels every 5 months on average. Rainbow riders may be the exception to this based on maturity and attention span.
Do I have to demonstrate my skills at a ribbon test day to advance?
No, as long as you can demonstrate competency of each objective for the next ribbon level, you may advance once your instructor deems you are ready!
What if I’ve never ridden alone and don’t know how to ride?
We will assign you a ground buddy to help with your horse until you feel safe to ride solo. Certain objectives must be met before you can advance
