The Riding Academy is a membership-based riding program. We operate similarly to a monthly gym membership. We offer regular lessons 45 weeks out of the year, excluding 7 weeks of rest for our amazing lesson horses. Lessons will usually be mounted, but may include unmounted lessons in the event of inclement weather or rider limitations based on instructor discretion. Length of lessons are typically 60 minutes long, except for our very youngest riders. Rainbow rider lessons are 45 minutes long due to age and attention span. We utilize a proven curriculum that assigns each rider a ribbon level. Riders must demonstrate sufficient knowledge of all outlined objectives to advance to the next level. Most riders will start at the red or rainbow level. Riders will participate in classes approved for their ribbon level. Horses will also be assigned ribbon colors to ensure we are matching you to an appropriate level horse.
